The Easy Applicator Plug & Play Single Patient Use (SPU) - EASPU-PP - is an Air Assisted Patient Lateral Transfer and Repositioning Air Mattress.

In its current version, it is the latest update (3rd Generation) for this very versatle and technically superior product.

The PLUG & PLAY refers to the innovation in the design that allows almost full compatibility with Air Blowers from different competitors without losing the Fast Glide and Slide Abilities.

The EASPU-PP provides an almost effortless Controlled, Fast, Smooth Slide and Glide.

The Air Mattress adapts to the Patient's weight and weight distribution, and in so doing enables an Easy, Smooth, Fast, Controlled Glide & Slide that is superior than other competitive Air Mattress Products.

The Easy Applicator PLUG & PLAY is a Patient Lateral Transfer and Repositioning Air Mattress that has been been designed to be used with a Single Patient (SPU - Single Patient Use) and as such it is Patient Specific.

Single Patient Use Products are designed to reduce the risks associated with cross contamination and infection.

The Easy Applicator Plug & Play SPU can also help as a Stop-Gap product when the Durable Air Mattress is being reprocessed or when there is a need for additional Air Mattresses quickly and at short notice.

The Easy Applicator Plug & Play SPU works and functions in a similar fashion to a Hovercraft - Air is blown into the mattress by the means of an external air supply device called the Air Blower. The force of the expulsion of the Air through the perforations located in the base of the Mattress, lifts and raises the mattress off the bed ever so slightly.

The effect of the Air Mattress being raised up, allows for reducing the contact between the Air Mattress and the Bed (or other Transfer Surface) and thereby reducing the friction between the two surfaces.

3PS - PATIENT POSITIONING AND PLACEMENT SYSTEM

The 3PS System makes Applications and Transfers Easy.

The 3PS System facilitates and helps with:

• Assessing and establishing the Correct Size of the Air Mattress for the Patient
• The Application of the Air Mattress under the Patient - for example when log-rolling the Patient on the Mattress
• The placement positioning of the Patient when making the Transfer to the Receiving Surface 
• The Repositioning of the Patient on the Receiving Surface

WITH WASH INDICATOR

All EASPU-PP Air Mattresses have an additional FEATURE in the form of a WASH INDICATOR

Should the Air Mattress be washed, the Indicator will highlight and draw attention to Care Provider that the Mattress should not be used.
