The EASY APPLICATOR RETURN (EAR) System is a multifaceted Patient Aid in the form of Slide and Drawsheets that are
used in facilitating easy Patient/User Positioning, Turning and Transfer. They can be used in Healthcare Facilities as well as in Private Residence.
The EAR System is used instead of Standard Bed
Linen and can be left behind and under bed-bound Patients.
The System comprises of 3 Ranges of Products that offer different advantages and benefits:
- The PLUS Range
- The PREMIUM Range
- The PREMIUM PLUS Range
Each range consists of a Base Sheet and a Top Drawsheet complimented with a range of Accessories and Support
The BASE SHEET
The Base Sheet is placed on top of the Mattress. The Base Sheet is held in place by the use of various fixing and fastening
In the Plus Range, the Base Sheet is held in place by Elasticated Corner Band Straps.
In the Premium Range, the Fastening System consists of an Elasticated Skirt at each corner that holds the Base Sheet in place.
In the Premium Plus Range, the Fastening System consists of an Elasticated and Adjustable Belt and Buckle Fastening System located at each corner, in conjunction with a selection of Webbing Straps of various
lengths. The Webbing Straps are fastened to the Belt and Buckle and hold the Base Sheet in place.
The Drawsheet is placed on top of the Base Sheet with the Patient lying on Top.
The RETURN SYSTEM - BASE SHEET IN COMBINATION WITH THE TOP DRAWSHEET
The RETURN System is Medium Slide Enabling - that is, the Slide achieved with the System is not as fast or as
enabling as that experienced with Low Friction Sliding Sheets. The Transfers, Repositioning and Re-adjustments are therefore more controlled and help stablise the Patient/User without too much
displacement and/or movement.
The Medium Slide is achieved by the use of Medium Slide Enabling Satin Material. The Satin Material is integrated as a part of the
Sheets in both the Base and Top Drawsheets. When both the Sheets are placed facing each other and on top of each other, the Satin provides for the Medium Friction Reducing Properties of the Return
